This is a Technical Assistance of Asian Development Bank to carry out the feasibility study for construction of new bypass road. The Project, to be financed by ADB under the Multi - Tranche Financing Facility (MFF) will be implemented over a period of 5 years. The study involves the technical, economic, financial and safeguards feasibility of the road. PJRCS have been sub contracted by the lead firm to carry out the Social and Resettlement studies for the project.

The major responsibilities and specific duties carried out are as follows:

• Review the Georgian National Laws and Legislation related to the Land Acquisition and Resettlement
• Assessment of the Land Management System in the Ajara Province
• Preparation of Land Acquisition and Resettlement Framework (LARF) for the program
• Preparation of Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan (LARP) for the Project
• Preparation of compensation package and entitlement for affected people
• Carrying out social and poverty impact assessment of the project
